Roger G. Fischer

Roger G. Fischer 77 of Camby, IN passed away February 25, 2014. He was born to Roy and Adeline (Moir) Fischer on September 28, 1936 in Falmouth, KY.He was retired from the Ford Motor Co. in 2001 after 34 years as a Material Handler. He was a 1954 graduate of Vernon High School and proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. He was a member of the Cumberland Masonic Lodge, Indianapolis Valley of Scottish Rite, and Murat Shrine. He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Steve) Trent, Shelly (Al) Strong, Julie Richert, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and sisters, Geraldine Hart and Patricia Baker. Services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 11 AM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur Township with visitation there Friday, February 28, 2014 5-9PM. A Masonic Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:45 AM prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon, Indiana.
