Roger D. Anderson

Roger D Anderson, Sr., 58, of Indianapolis, passed away January 22, 2013. He will be joining his parents Archie and Merlean Anderson and sister, Sue Smock, who preceded him in death. Roger was born May 18, 1954 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Redathera "Dickie" Anderson; 5 children: Daniel(Zabrina) Robson, Roger(Elizabeth) Anderson, Jr., Stevie(Joelyn) Turner, Roger Scott Gorbett, and Julie Williams; 14 grandchildren, sister, Judy(David) Harbit, brothers, Larry(Carol) Anderson, Sr., Billie(Leah) Anderson, and Bobby(Tina) Anderson; brother-in-law, Earl Smock, Sr., and good friend and colleague of 17 years, Dan Witte. Roger was a Colts fan, loved to fish, shoot pool, play darts, and loved a good game of poker. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home and also on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
