Robin Marie Wilson of Brownsburg, IN, formerly of Indianapolis, was born on January 29,1954 in Indianapolis, IN to Thomas J. and Linnie (Rice) Hart. She was educated in the Indianapolis Public School System, completing her education at Crispus Attucks High School.
On August 04, 1973, she married the love of her life, Robert Charles Wilson, affectionately known as ” Bubbles”. She remained his loving and faithful wife until his death, June 28, 2009. They became the proud parents of 1 son, Robert Adrian, the center of their world.
Robin was a diligent worker, sometimes working 2 jobs, but her favorite job was the cleaning service she worked with her husband “Bubbles”.
In 2009, she began an intensive study of the bible with her sisters-in-law, Georgia and Yolanda. In time, she developed a sincere love for Jehovah and began associating with Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her love for Jehovah was so strong that she would do anything to get to the meetings, many times taking the Indygo transportation in the dark of the night! She demonstrated this love by becoming one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on September 09, 2017. Though she struggled with many health challenges, she maintained a cheerful outlook, looking forward to the fulfillment of Jehovah’s promise at Isaiah 33:24, “No resident will say I am sick”
Robin was kind, generous and hospitable. Like Dorcas of the Christian Congregation, she abounded in “good deeds and gifts of mercy”. And like Dorcas, many will rejoice at Robin’s resurrection. Robin went to sleep in death on July 19, 2021.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Robert Adrian and his wife Tiffany, granddaughters, Miela and Laila Wilson, grandsons, Kailyn Smith, Joseph Membres and Robert A. Wilson, Jr., great-grandson Jailyn Smith, brothers, Marvin, Tommy and Leon Hart, special aunts, Sandra Rice, Mildred Clardy and an uncle, Frank Rice. Robin is also survived by her loving in-laws, Roger and Georgia Wathen, Joe and Yolanda Wilson, Willie and Dorothy Wilson, Kevin and Elorise Wilson, Russell and Clarissa Hill and Cassandra Davis; along with a host of other relatives and friends. She is also survived by her furry, four-legged grandchildren, Buster and Teddy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bubbles”Wilson, her parents Tommy and Linnie Hart, sisters Brenda Coles and Penny Hart and brothers Larry and Randy Hart.
