Mr. Robin L. Buckmaster 61, of Zionsville passed away March 27th, 2014
Robin is preceded in death by his father Lloyd S. Buckmaster, son Andy Buckmaster, brothers Charles L. Buckmaster, and Jeffrey D. Knox.
Robin is a lifelong resident of Zionsville in which he has been a great supporter of all community business's and families. As a member of the American Legion Post 79 he enjoyed supporting the honoring of veterans from all branches of the military. His passion for cars began at the age of thirteen working with his father which led him to begin Robin's Body Shop in the late 80's. In addition to his passion for automobiles Robin enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing. Robin's funny sense of humor will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family but especially his daughter Jessie who he enjoyed watching play basketball through the years.
He is survived by his parents Elaine and Claude Bunch, daughter Jessie L. Buckmaster, very special friend Lynn Easton, brothers Dord L. Buckmaster, Robert E. Knox, Lynn Knox, John R. Knox, sisters Elaine L. Buckmaster-Cone, and Karen L. Buckmaster-Marsh, step-son Troy Minton, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday March 30th at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville from 2-6pm. Service will be Salem United Methodist Church Monday March 31st at 11am with visitation one hour prior.
In Lieu of flowers donations in Robin's honor may be made to the Buckmaster Memorial Benefit Fund c/o PNC Bank (1395 W. Oak St – Zionsville) for Jessie Buckmaster.
