Roberta Ruth Gollner, 85 of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her home. Ruth was born March 1, 1930 in Grant County, IN to the late Roland and Blanche Riley. She worked for the American Legion national Headquarters for 20 years, retiring in 1995. Ruth was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Post 317 in Greentown. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 13 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 12. Ruth was the widow of William F. Gollner, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Mitzi Kay (husband, Jim) Sjogren and Joni Rae Gollner; grandchildren, Heather Dixon and Krystal Frank; great grandchildren, Curtis James Pruitt, Kristopher William Frank and Alexandra Marie Dixon; sister, Rosemary Froelich; brother, Webb (wife, Helen) Riley.
