Roberta Leona Morgan

Roberta Leona Morgan, 78, passed on December 13, 2017.  She was born in Indianapolis February 9, 1939 to Vernon & Geneva Brinkman.  She is survived by sister Patricia, brothers Tom & John, sons Donald, Ronald, Maurice & Jeffrey, daughters-in-law Casey, Sandy and partner Lamonte.  She was blessed with 10 Grandchildren, 6 Great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by husband Maurice, daughter Mary and son Edward.

Roberta attended Lawrence Central High School with her husband Maurice “Joe”.  She was a member of the Job’s Daughters chapter in Castleton and awarded Honor Queen.  Roberta was a Cub Scout Den mother and “Aunt Bert” to many of the children.  Roberta was very generous to performing arts organizations and shared her own talents as a costumer, seamstress and business woman.  She was co-owner of Performer’s Edge Dance Theatre & Morgan Scavenger Service.  She was dedicated to her family and was a loving mother to everyone.

Calling will be Saturday, December 16th starting at 10:00am with a service at 1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan- Geist – 7855 Cork Place, Indianapolis, 46236.
