Roberta "Bobbi" Anne Haldane

Roberta Anne Haldane (Wade), 89, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on October 24, 2025. She was born on May14,1936. She was the daughter of Elizabeth and Robert Wade of Marblehead, Massachusetts. 

Roberta was a 1954 graduate of Danvers High School in Danvers, Massachusetts, and a 1956 graduate of Katharine Gibbs Executive Secretarial School in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduation she worked in Boston where she met the love of her life, William Haldane, in 1957. They were later married in September of 1963, after his six year stint in the Army National Guard. 

Roberta quit work when her first child, Diane, was born. Two years later David was born and Bobbi remained a stay at home mom until 1975 when she returned to the work force at Morton International. It was later sold to Johnson Matthey where she retired in 2010. After retiring, Bobbi and Bill enjoyed traveling to many linteresting places until their grandchildren were born. Diane and her husband Chris Perkins, have two children, Stephanie and Sean. Traveling to see the grandchildren became their shared focus. 

Throughout her life, Bobbi loved to take photographs of her travels, collect and try out many, many different recipes. She also enjoyed socializing with friends and sending and receiving greeting cards to and from friends and family. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and told others of their many accomplishments. 

Upon losing her beloved husband to cancer in 2015, she moved to Westfield, Indiana to live the final ten years of her life with her son David. Both Bobbi and her husband Bill will be buried at the Flanner Buchanon cemetery in Westfield, Indiana.
