Robert W. Rasmussen

Robert Wayne Rasmussen 74, of Greenfield passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indpls. He was born on June 22, 1940 to the late Robert and Nadine (Tourtellot) Rasmussen. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Natalie Hahn. Robert was a graduate of Broad Ripple HS and then joined the U.S. Marines. He also served in the Army Reserve and retired from the National Guard. Robert was in skilled trades at General Motors and retired in 1992. He was a member of Cumberland Christian Church. Robert is survived by his 2 children from his first marriage, Angela and Brian Rasmussen. He married Twilla (Wheeler) Gilmore in 1976 and had step-children, Mark Gilmore and Shari (Gilmore) Jenkins, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, niece, Julie Hahn Ellis and Michael Hahn. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Kidney Foundation.
