Robert Victor Smith

Robert Victor Smith 93, Indianapolis, IN passed away August 15, 2012. He was born on April 26, 1919 in Indianapolis, IN the son of Walter Harvey and Belle Olive (Goodling) Smith. Robert was a WW II U S Army – Air Corps Veteran and a member of Northside Baptist Church. He retired in 1986 as an Architect Draftsman with James Associates. Survivors: daughter, Pamela Sue (Richard) Hersch; sons, Timothy Victor Smith and Wilson Walter (Sandra Lynn) Smith; step children, Sandra (Jerry) Lattimore, Ed (Becky) Russell and Donna (Ron) Richards; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Frances Smith and his second wife, Virginia Marie Smith; daughter, Mary Roberta Smith- Hamer and sister, Mary Elizabeth Lay. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park 9350 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm at the funeral center. Burial with a military graveside tribute will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
