Robert Lee Tuttle

November 22, 1942 — November 14, 2023

Noblesville, Indiana

Robert “Bob” Lee Tuttle, 80, of Noblesville passed away peacefully November 14, 2023 under the caring staff of Brighton Hospice and Wellbrooke of Westfield. He was born November 22, 1942, in Milwaukee, WI the son of the late Robert L. Sr. and Beulah (Bibbe) Tuttle.  He fell in love with and married Judy G. Kimber on May 28, 1966. They later welcomed two daughters, Carrie and Kristin.

Bob was a 1961 graduate of Shorewood High School, WI and completed his bachelor’s business degree in 1967. Bob had an affinity for cars and followed in his father’s footsteps as a successful owner and operator of Tuttle’s Automotive Service Center on E. Capitol Drive in Milwaukee, WI until his retirement. Bob enjoyed quite a few hobbies and community involvement. He served on Mequon’s Volunteer Fire Department for many years, serving as both a firefighter and paramedic. When his girls were young, he and Judy traveled the country, mostly by truck or motorhome.  Summers were spent with friends and family on Lake Geneva or Big Cedar Lake, WI. Annual trips to Walt Disney World were filled with excitement and laughter. He and the family served at Christ Lutheran Church in Mequon, WI. As empty nesters, Bob and Judy took up roller skating, attending hot rod car shows, traveling abroad, and goofing around with their grandchildren. At home, Bob could be found under one of his “fixer” cars, driving the plow truck, tinkering with his Corvette, or lying in bed with his dog and a quart of ice cream! His loved ones will forever remember him as a caring, generous, and wonderfully social husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy Tuttle; two daughters, Carrie (Jon) Park and Kristin (Paul) Johnides; grandchildren Reese (Alicia) Wells, Connor (Gabi) Wells, Courtnie and Emma Park, Keaton Lewis, and Lyndie & Cameron Johnides; two nephews, John (Susanne) and Jim (Sonali) Kimber, and in-laws Bob and Nancy Kimber.
