Robert T. Melvin

Robert Truman Melvin, 88, passed away February 18^th, 2022, in Indianapolis. He was born December 6, 1933, in Indianapolis.

Bob served in the United States Marine Corps before becoming a repairman for Indiana Bell and AT&T.

Bob was an active member of the American Legion Post 500, enjoyed race time and parking cars, was a very generous man and will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Mae (Campbell) Melvin in May 2021 and is survived by his sons Brad and Brian; his grandchildren Kristin, Karl, Joshua; and great-grandchildren Koda, Michael, Lydia, and Canaan.

A memorial service with military honors will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 5^th, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway at 2950 N. High School Road in Indianapolis.
