Robert T. “Bob” Garrett Sr.
91, Indianapolis, passed away April 9, 2011. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army’s 32nd Division. He was employed with the Circle B Company, for 25 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Latherer’s Union Local #39 in Indianapolis and Local #18 in Kentucky. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Thelma Garrett; children, Rockne Garrett, Ronald (Theresa) Garrett, Robert Garrett Jr., Rhodonna (Bruce) Tussey, Richard (Denise) Garrett, Roxann Laudick, Rozlyn (Steve) Ehrgott and Roberta (Richard) Lopez; 28 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Jean Wimsett. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina McIntosh and a son, Rigal Garrett. Services for Bob will be at Noon on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13 and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
