Robert P. "Bob" Wherry

Robert P. “Bob” Wherry, 71, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 21, 2017. He was born on September 14, 1946 in Van Wert, OH to the late Harry and Kathleen (Purvis) Wherry.  Bob was a 1964 graduate of North Central High School and a 1969 graduate of Valparaiso University.  He worked for 34 years for Baldwin & Lyons, Inc., retiring in 2011. Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lynn Wherry; sons, Mike Wherry and Steve (Stacie) Wherry; granddaughter, Sydnie Wherry.  He is also survived by his sister, Luanne (Gary) Stover; and nephew, Dustin Stover. In accordance with Bob’s wishes, only a private family gathering will be held.  Memorial contributions are encouraged to any children’s charity.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.  Cremation services entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
