Robert Lee Moss, 69, went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on March 27, 2026. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 12, 1957, Robert (Bob) was a lifelong resident of his beloved hometown of Carmel, Indiana.
He is survived by his cherished wife Pat, his mother Joyce, brothers and sisters Linda, Tim, Cyndy, and Jennie and his five nieces and nephews Abigail, Andrew, Lily, Rose and Carlitos. He was preceded in death by his father LJ.
Robert devoted his life to being a caring husband to Pat and they were blessed with 37 years of marriage. He was a loyal son to his parents and a lifelong role model to his brothers and sisters and their children. He was faithful to help care for his father in his last years and continued to provide support to his mother who lives in Florida. Throughout his life he was a shining example of a servant leader with his steadfast love for Jesus, his devotion to his family, and the care and support he provided to his fellow church members.
His love of learning and academics began at Carmel High School where he earned a full scholarship to Butler University to pursue a bachelor's degree in History and Political Science. He began a career in computer programming at Indiana Bell Telephone Company in Indianapolis where he served for many years before leaving to start his own software consulting company, Capstone Software.
Later in life, he helped co found Legacy Bible Church in Fishers, Indiana and served in various leadership roles there including elder chair. We can be assured that when he reached heaven and met Jesus he heard the words, "Well done thou good and faithful servant."
The visitation will take place at 10 am and the funeral at 11 am on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Legacy Bible Church at 13490 Howe Road, Fishers, Indiana 46038.
