Robert R. Locke Sr.

85, passed away July 10, 2017. He was born on August 28, 1931. Robert was a lifelong Indianapolis resident most recently residing in Greenwood. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. After discharge from the Marines, he entered the trucking industry, where he drove a truck for 35 years. Bob was a part of the Teamster Union 135 group. He was also an avid coin collector and loved antiques.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lula Locke; wife, Patricia Locke; and son, John Locke.
He is survived by his son, Robert Jr. (Kerri); two daughters, Patty Foster and Sherry Locke; companion, Betty Dillard; and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 from 11am until 1pm. Services will be held immediately after at 1pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
