Robert Lee Jones, 94, passed away on September 18, 2014. He was born September 16, 1920 to Samuel and Phyllis Jones in Indianapolis, Indiana. During WWII, his tour of duty in the Army Air Corp included Northern Africa, Italy and France. He was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Pritchard, Mooney and Company in 1997. After his retirement, he worked at the PGA Golf Shop in the Indianapolis International Airport. He loved dancing and was a member earlier in life with his wife of Club 250. He also played in the Bobby Jones Open each year for many years.
His parents, his loving wife of 71 years, Gladys Schilling Jones, his son Steven, his sister, Mary Jones Facker and his brother Clint precede him in death. Surviving to cherish his memory is his son, Marc Jones and several nieces and nephews.
