Robert L. Tresso

Robert Louis "Rob" Tresso 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior at his home in Carmel, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family. He courageously battled cancer for 10 months and now has been healed. Rob was born July 22, 1936, in West Frankfort, Illinois, to Louis and Cecilia (Bonacorsi) Tresso. He served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Columbus. Rob was an avid Bible student, and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Rob taught the Monday Morning Retired Men's Bible Study of Grace Community Church in Noblesviile, Indiana, where he was a member. He loved being "Paw Paw" to his four granddaughters. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Judy; two daughters, Robyn (Scott) Reed of Carmel; Amber (Rob) Pooser of Noblesville, Indiana; four granddaughters: Abby and Gillian Reed and Madison and Lily Pooser; one sister, Sylvia (Dean) Tharp of West Frankfort, Illinois; sister-in-law, Mary Beth (Steve) Huckelberry of Westfield, Indiana; brother-in-law, Tom (Mary Ann) Peavler of Spring Hill, Florida; and two life-time Navy buddies, Hugh Farley of Hampton, New Jersey, and Robert Beecroft of Frackville, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 9, at Grace Community Church, Noblesville, Indiana. Pastor Mike Whitesell will be officiating. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 3:00 p.m. with service Immediately following visitation, interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Westfield, Indiana, with arrangements being made by Flanner-Buchanan Funeral Home in Carmel, Indiana.
