Robert L. 'Rob' Mccarty

Robert L. "Rob" McCarty, 52 of Indianapolis was born January 12, 1963 in Indianapolis to Larry and Mary McCarty. He passed away on September 7, 2015, after complications from a very short battle with a rare cancer. Rob's greatest love was his family, and he worked so hard to always provide for them. He loved to be busy and spent lots of time doing for others. Rob spent many years in the photography business and most currently was a cabinet builder. He truly loved every part of life. He lived life to the fullest bringing laughter to every person and every situation he encountered. Rob was a son, brother, husband, father, uncle, Pop, and friend, and he will be missed by so many. Rob is preceded in death by his nephew, Benjamin Rogers. Surviving to cherish his memories are his wife, Paige, his parents, Larry and Mary McCarty, his children, Matthew (Vanessa) McCarty, Ashlee (Aaron) Fort, Christopher (Renee') McCarty and Abigail McCarty, his sister, Julie (Chuck) Rogers, brother, Doug McCarty, granddaughters, Jiana, Juliette, Eden and Aurora as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with Rob's family from 4:00 PM until service time at 7:00 PM Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Post Road Christian Church, 1112 N. Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219.
