Robert Milton Keller, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on December 1, 1934, Robert was a man whose life was defined not only by his professional achievements but also by his deep faith and commitment to his family.
Robert graduated from Jefferson Union High School in Richmond, Ohio, before furthering his education with special studies at Wittenberg University in Ohio. His career began as a machinist at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Mill and continued for over 30 years at Titanium Metals Corporation in Toronto, Ohio, where he rose to become the Manager of Engineering and Maintenance, in addition to serving as Facilities Manager at the titanium plant in Morristown, Tennessee.
A proud veteran, Robert served in the U.S. Marine Air Wing during the Korean War as an aircraft specialist. This experience crafted in him a sense of discipline and dedication that he carried throughout his life.
On February 16, 1956, Robert experienced a profound transformation when he was Born Again into the family of God. He became associated with the Gospel Hall assembly in Steubenville, Ohio, until relocating to Indiana in 2006. In Indianapolis, he fellowshipped with The Bethany Christian Fellowship and dedicated himself to ministering the Word of God until his passing.
Robert is survived by his beloved spouse, Gloria M. Keller, of Fishers, Indiana; his children, Robin (Alan) Becker, and their family of Indianapolis, Indiana; Eric (Barbara) Keller, and their family of Aurora, Colorado; and Shawn (Kerrie) Keller, and their family of Osage Beach, Missouri. He is also remembered by his sister, Thelma (Ellis) Chalfant, of Johnstown, Ohio; and his brother, Earl (Mary) Keller, Jr., of Steubenville, Ohio. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Sarah Becker, Benjamin (Zainab) Becker, Jonathan Becker, Corbin Keller, and Scarlett Keller.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl M. Keller, his mother, Elizabeth Goray Keller, two sisters, Charlotte (Dennis) Yocum and Elaine (Richard) Westlake, and an infant son, Robert Keller.
A visitation will be held on June 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel), located at 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
Robert Milton Keller will be remembered as a steadfast individual, whose life exemplified love, faith, and service to others. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
