Robert K. Long

Robert K. Long 66, of Avon, Indiana, passed away, August 29, 2010 in South Dakota from a motorcycle accident. He was born on February 21, 1944 in New Castle, Indiana. He was retired from GM after 30 years there. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Avon. He is survived by his wife, Faye Long; children, Lori (Jim) Milzarek and Kyle (Megan) Long; sister, Jackie (Dick) Swim; grandchildren; Riley, Carson, Carter; nephews, Jeff and Greg Swim. Services will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 1 p.m. with calling from 11 a.m. till service time at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Speedway. Burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
