Robert A. (B.J.) Johnston
Robert A. B.J. Johnston went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2015. He was born in St. Paul, MN raised in Rice Lake, WI, Santa Monica, CA, and Indianapolis, IN. He finished high school at Shortridge High School and graduated from Butler University. He was also a Korean War era Veteran, serving in the Army.
B.J. had basically two jobs, 13 years with Denison Parking Garages as manager and secretary; and 38 years with F.C. Tucker Company, Inc. While at Tucker he served as Operations Manager and Secretary, followed by serving as Residential Manager of four different Offices. When he retired from Tucker, he was the manager of the Keystone at the Crossing Office.
B.J. was a longtime and fourth oldest member of the Broad Ripple Optimist Club.
His wife of 23 years, Patricia C.; his mother, Jeanne and stepfather, Sam Renek precede him in death. His brother, Mike Renek of Harrisonville, Missouri, survives him. He is also survived by his children: daughter, Laura Boyer (Clyde) of Nashville, IN, sons, Robert (Tami) of Carmel and William and James of Indianapolis; stepchildren: Kymm Welch and Kraig Kenworthy; four grandchildren; a step-grandson and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 in Flanner and Buchanan- Broad Ripple, where funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 28, 2015.

Burial will be private for family members only at Calvary Cemetery.
