Robert Meyers, 60, of Indianapolis passed away on December 24, 2020.
Robert dedicated his life to providing for his family. His strong work ethic is what instilled the foundations of his home and his children’s lives. He had a passion for beautiful cars, Fast and the Furious, Starbucks, and music “with a beat” like Earth, Wind, and Fire, Santana, and so much more. For those who knew him and had a close relationship with him knew how headstrong he was. Robert was a character and didn’t have a filter when it came to saying whatever was on his mind.
He worked as a mechanic for Target Distribution Center for over 25 years. He was also certified in electrical work.
He is survived by his children, Robert, Claire, and Taylor; his sister JoAnne Gonzalez and his brother David Plott; and his grandchildren, Kaydence, Parker and Skylar.
Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife, his mother Claire Meyers, and his father Irven Meyers.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. Robert will be cremated and laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery next to his wife.
