Robert James Milligan

Robert James Milligan, 49 of Indianapolis, died September 28, 2010. He was born in Orange Co., CA on October 19, 1960 the son of Robert S. and Caryl (Steiber) Milligan. He was a ISU graduate (Terre Haute, IN) with a bachelors degree in Aviation Administration. He was a member of the American Legion Post #495. Robert worked for over 12 years as a account manager for Neff Engineering Co. He also was a U.S. Air National Guard veteran for 22 years and a member of the American Legion Post #495. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn L. (Carpenter)Newlin Milligan; a son, Greg A. Newlin; a sister, Kathy (Michael)Chaney; brothers, David (Linda)Milligan and Jeff (Dee) Milligan; his parents Robert S. and Caryl Milligan. Visitation for Robert will be Sunday (10-3-2010)from 2 to 7pm in Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center. A celebration of his life will be Monday (10-4-2010)at 2pm in the funeral center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
