Robert Allen Hines Sr.

Robert Allen Hines Sr., age 59 of Indianapolis passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife: Juanita Hines, his father: Jack W. Hines and his brother: Jackie Hines.

He is survived by his son: Robert (wife Cassie) Hines Jr.

His grandchildren: Evangeline, Aeva, Bryan and Daylin.

His mother: Judith Hines.

Sisters: Debbie (husband Kevin) Pierle and Pam (husband Paul) Galusha.

Nieces: special niece and caregiver Amanda Hines and Tonya (husband Derrick) Fullen.

Nephews: Austin Pierle and Roger Hines.

Brothers-in-law: Johnnie, Joe, Leonard, Louie and Bill Lockhart.

Many other family members, relatives, and close friends also survive.

Rob worked as an Indiana Marshall and also a Crows Nest Police Officer. He was a florist and loved flowers.

He was an author, a mechanic, a laser engraver designer as well as an ordained wedding officiant.

He loved many things throughout his life including but not limited to fishing, motorcycles, going to the cabin and the lake, visiting the farm with family and sports.

He loved to make people laugh and play jokes on them. He greatly loved watching his grandchildren play and grow up.

He was a driven person who was constantly learning all throughout his life. He loved to make things for people and found great joy in helping anyone with anything they might need.

Rob will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

His funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Brother Gary Pitcock will officiate.

Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery where Robert will be laid to rest with his wife Juanita Hines.
