Robert H. "Bud" Hindman, 89 of Carmel, passed away Wednesday, August22, 2012. Bud was born December 16, 1922 in Indianapolis to the late Harold R. and Geneva Kaster Hindman. He attended Purdue University and was a Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
Bud was an architect and owned Robert H. Hindman and Associates, Inc. for over 40 years. His specialty was church architecture.
Bud was a member of E. 91st Street Christian Church, North Park Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine and the Carmel American Legion.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, August 27 at E. 91st Street Christian Church. Friends and family are invited to gather from 2:00 – 6:00 pm Sunday, August 26 at Flanner and Buchanan- Carmel.
Bud is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy; daughter, Patricia A. (husband, William) Sweet; grandchildren, Christopher M. Sweet, Kelly L. (husband, Kip) Rothert, Kimberly A. (husband, Dmitri) Lunetta; great grandchildren, Melanie N., Lucas W., Marco R., Riley A., Reese E.; sister-in-law, Vivian Hindman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Hindman and sister, Ruth Alice Krammas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
