Robert Hansen

Robert Stanley “Bob” Hansen, 80 of Indianapolis, was called by Our Lord to be with Him on Saturday, February 26, 2011. He was the son of Hans and Louise Hansen and was a life-long resident of Indianapolis, and attended Public School #80 and Broad Ripple High School. Bob was a graduate of Indiana University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity. He was an officer in the United States Air Force, serving in Thule, Greenland. Bob was president of the Tway, Co, Inc. for over 30 years, and Chairman of the Board thereafter. He worshipped together with his family at the Church at the Crossing where he gave his heart to the Lord in 1973. Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Arlene, with whom he celebrated 57 years of marriage; daughter, Tracy (husband Bill) DeRamo; son, Peter (wife Stacie) Hansen; grandchildren, Matthew and Daniel Crane, Gianna DeRamo, Alex and Arianna Hansen and Brandon (wife Emily) Greenberg, and great-granddaughter, Gabriella. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the Church at the Crossing, where friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the time of service. The Hansen family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers memorial gifts take the form of donations to the Church at the Crossing or The Nature Conservancy.
