Robert Gene Morris

Robert Gene Morris 72, of Avon, passed away February 18, 2011. He was born on March 30, 1938, in Connersville, Indiana, to the late Elmer and Eleanor Morris. Robert was an assistant scout master for Boy Scout Troop #41 for most of his life. He worked for Western Electric for 25 years, and also at Standard Change-Makers, Inc. for 20 years. Robert was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. He enjoyed to fish and camp whenever he was able. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jo Ann Morris; son, Erik (Astra) Morris; and a grandchild, Ewan Morris. A funeral service for Robert will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at 2 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, with visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery.
