Robert A. Frederick

Robert A. Frederick, age 85 of Greenfield, Indiana passed away on Friday morning, March 22, 2024.

Bob was born on January 19, 1939 in Tiffin, Ohio, a son of Charles Leslie and Anna Marie (Reinhart) Frederick. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Bob married Rose Colgate on February 23, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tiffin, Ohio.  He is survived by his wife of 67 years Rose Frederick of Greenfield, Indiana.

He is survived by two daughters: Patricia Boyd of Washington, DC, and Elaine (husband Mickey) Bump of Martinsville, Indiana.

Grandchildren: Kenneth (wife Kelly) Scott of Greenfield, Indiana, and Keith (wife Alexandra) Scott of McCordsville, Indiana, and Mary Jane Boyd.

Great grandchildren: Makayla, Mike, Logan, Myles and Henry.

Great great-grandchildren: Autumn, Vincent, and Victor.

Two sisters: Donna (husband John) McDermott and their family; Evone Curry and her family.

Bob grew up in Tiffin, Ohio.   He graduated from Calvert High School in Tiffin, Ohio class of 1956.  After high school he attended Heidelburg College for a year and as well as married Rose.   Bob and Rose moved to Indiana in 1963 and in the mid seventies he started his own business.  He retired in 2003.  After retirement Bob and Rose enjoyed traveling the United States.  Over the years he enjoyed many things including music, ham radio, sail boats, kayaking and canoeing, bird watching, camping, and photographing nature.  He was an avid outdoorsman.

 A memorial gathering to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Geist Funeral Center, located at 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46236.
