90 years old,of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016. He was born April29, 1926 in Tipton, Indiana to the late, Elmer and Carolyn (Yontz) Doversberger.Robert graduated from Tipton High School in 1944 and later served his countryin the United States Army from 1944-1946 stationed in Germany. He graduatedfrom Central Business College in 1947. Robert retired from Civil Service,Indianapolis Veterans Administration. He married the love of his life BetsyJane Brumfield on April 25, 1959. Robert was an active member of CentralChristian Church, Indianapolis for more than 50 years. He enjoyed reading,traveling, and being with Betsy.

Robert issurvived by his brother, James Doversberger; sister-in-law, Bobette Grissom;nieces, nephews, and devoted friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wifeof 53 years, Betsy; parents; sister, Betty (Doversberger) Rump; brother, CarlDoversberger.
