Robert Eugene Englum, 63, Indianapolis, passed away on August 5, 2012. He was born in Paris, IL, the son of Eugene and Mary Englum. He taught Jr. High mathematics at Orchard Country Day School for 19 years. He was an active member of the St. Thomas Aquinas community, volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul's Food Pantry, the Cathedral Sunday Soup Kitchen, and the St. Augustine Home for the Aged. He is survived by his wife Rita; children, Brian and Lynn; grandson, Paxton; mother, Mary; and sister, Pat Bader.
The visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple at 4-8 p.m. on Wed., August 8, 2012. Rosary service will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Thurs., August 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
