Robert Earl Ketchum

Robert Earl Ketchum 54, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010. He was born September 13, 1956, in Norristown, Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Margaret Ketchum. Robert was a retired staff sergeant from the air wing of the United States Marine Corps. He served his country in Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and Somalia. He was awarded 3 air medals for his combat missions, and many other commendations and awards. Robert was also a certified aerospace accident investigator, and was a very avid golfer. He traveled the world while working, playing at many different golf courses during his travels. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Carolyn Ketchum; son, Christopher Ketchum; daughter, Jessica Ketchum, Sadie Ketchum, Caroline Ketchum; brother, Leroy Ketchum; sisters, Joyce (Joe) Cashwell, Mary (Tim Waugh) Ketchum, and Donna Roth. Visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, a funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral center. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
