80 years old, of Greencastle, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Robert was born in Hayden, IN on December 23, 1935 to parents, Walter Earl and Nellie (Manning) Bowman.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Doris (Wheat) Bowman; children: Vickie Clark (Clayton), Brenda Bowman and Robert Bowman (Andrea); 5 grandchildren: Tonya, Frederick, Kacey, James and Robert Michael; 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Mike Bowman.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nellie and his siblings: Harold Dean, Pat, Beverly, and Johnny.

Friends may call from 11a.m. until 1p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, where his funeral service will immediately follow at 1p.m. Entombment will be private for family only in Washington Park East Cemetery.
