Robert E. Rhodes

Robert E. Rhodes, 77, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away August 19, 2021. He was born on the southside of Indianapolis on May 9, 1944 to the late Charles and Helen Friddle Rhodes.

After graduating from Howe High School, Robert went on to honorably serve in the United States Air Force. Upon his return, he began work at Indiana Bell where he retired in the year 2000 from his position in construction management.

Robert celebrated over 50 years of love with his beloved wife, Sharon B. Rhodes. Together they raised their five children in the Indianapolis area.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Sharon B. Rhodes; adoring children, Dave, Mickey, Teresa, Bobby, and Pam; along with 14 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren; brother, Tom, niece, Laura, and nephew, Rick.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 11AM-1PM with funeral services to begin at 1PM at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis 46229.
