Robert Devlin

Robert E. Devlin, age 90, went to be with his Lord on August 13^th,2016. Survivors include his loving wifePatricia, invaluable brother-in-law and sister-in-law Don and Mims Pirtle,nieces Suanne Grey, Nancy Whitesell, Diana Stigleman (Wendell), Jane Webb(David), and Susan Pirtle. Nephew PhilGrey also survives. Other survivingrelatives include cousins Mary Kollman, Irvin Newkirk, and Bonnie Surchevich,great nephews Blair Webb (Jessica) and Thomas Webb (Vy).

Bob graduated from Rose Polytechnic Institute and worked 40 years for

the Detroit Diesel Allison Division of GM, as a design engineer. He was a veteran of WW II and a dedicated

long-time member of Speedway Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

A Celebration of Life ceremony

will be held at Speedway Christian Church on Friday, August 19^th at

5:00 pm with visitation two hours prior to the service. If desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions

may be given in memory of Bob, to the General Fund of the Speedway Christian

Church (5110 W. 14^th Street, Speedway, IN 46224).

Burial Service will be at a later date.
