Robert David “Bob”Galloway

Age 77, ofIndianapolis, passed away January 4, 2016. Bob was born in Cleveland, OH on May 24, 1938 to the late, William S.and Mildred (Welch) Galloway. He was aveteran of the US Navy, serving his country over 32 years in active duty,reserves and the National Guard. Hemarried Janet Writt on November 19, 1959, and the two enjoyed 56 years ofmarriage. Bob was a loving and devotedman. He was kind and generous and alwayswilling to lend a helping hand. He willbe lovingly missed by his wife, Janet Galloway; daughter, Michelle Frydell (BobFrydell); grandson, Robert Frydell, Jr.; brother, William Galloway of GarfieldHeights, OH; sister, Gail Fusek of Parma, OH; and sister-in-law, SuzanneWritt. In addition to his parents,Robert was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Galloway of California.

Friends may callfrom 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East. Additional calling will be held there on Monday,January 11, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with his funeral service toimmediately follow at 1 p.m. Entombmentwith military honors will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
