Robert Dale Smith

Robert D. Smith 58, of Greenfield, IN, passed away on December 30, 2012. He was born July 4, 1954 in Beech Grove, IN. Robert was the owner of Cedar Ridge Construction Corp., since 1979 and was a Mason for over 30 years. Robert truly loved the outdoors and traveling different places around the U.S. He was a quality craftsman and enjoyed displaying his great sense of humor especially around his family, who he deeply loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Ella Smith and brothers, Joseph "Alan" and Kelvin Smith. He is survived by his loving wife, Tracie J. Smith; son, Joshua D. (Stephanie) Smith; daughter, Nikki (Josh) Murphy; brothers, Gary (Karen), Ron (Tracey) and Charles Smith; granddaughters, Ashley and Macie Murphy; parents-in-law, Wayne (Bo) Carr; sister-in-law, Jackie Carr and longtime best friend, Donald B. Moore. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 in Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 in the funeral center.
