Robert Dale Green

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Dale Green, aged 87, on August 23, 2026. Born on April 23, 1939, in Kokomo, Indiana, Robert was a beloved father and a dedicated professional in the machine equipment sales industry.

Robert graduated from Kokomo High School in 1957 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University. He was passionate about music and demonstrated this talent as a percussionist in the Larry Kirkman Sextet Swingin' Big Band for 10 years. Robert also had a fulfilling brief career as a substitute teacher for the Indianapolis Public Schools, where he shared his knowledge and inspired numerous students.

Robert is survived by his cherished son, Patrick (Dawn) Green, sister, Rebecca Shorff, six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Judy and his parents Dale and Mary Green.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 1 pm at Crown Point Cemetery in Kokomo, IN. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Flanner Buchanan - Geist Chapel.

Robert Dale Green will be fondly remembered for his warmth, intellect, and the love he showed to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
