Robert 'Bob' Taylor

Robert 'Bob' W. Taylor, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away November 27, 2011. He was born September 8, 1937 in Pennington Gap, VA, the son of Raymond Creed and Pansy Ellen Taylor. He is survived by his children: Patricia(Scott) Bailey, Sharon Malone, and Stephen(Heidi) Taylor; grandchildren: Adam(Morgan) Hart, Shannon and Ashley Bailey, Shawnel Malone, Joshua, Savannah, Alyssa, and Caleb Taylor; great granddaughter: Madison Louise Hart. Also surviving are his brothers: Keith(Loretta) Taylor, Ricky(Lynn) Taylor and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise in 2003, great grandson, Ashton Hart; brother, Larry Taylor; sister, Peggy Harrison. Bob was retired from Herff Jones(Jewelry Division). He enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, making people laugh, and going to festivals. He enjoyed watching westerns, and was an avid IU Basketball and Colts fan. Bob was a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East.
