Robert "Bob" Okon

Robert “Bob” Okon left us on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020.  He was born in Chicago on August 24, 1939 to Susan and Bernard Okon.  Bob graduated from Marquette University, Milwaukee, in Civil Engineering.  He served four years as a Naval Officer and went on to spend many years in structural steel construction.

Bob leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 57 years, Diane (Flanagan) Okon.  They have three supportive children, Robert, Jr. (Julie), Kevin, and Deborah Eberhardt (John)of Seattle, WA.

Seven grandchildren will miss him; Sarah, Jack, Max and Ellen Eberhardt and Michael, Matthew and Andrew Okon.   His sisters Patricia Okon and Joan Okon Knutel, both of Chicago, were a big part of

his life as were their families.

Bob gave great hugs.  He loved boating, a good action movie and road trips.  May God bless him on his way.
