ROBERT THOMAS BARBER
66, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 29, 2014 in Indianapolis. He was a 1966 graduate of Valparaiso High School. He received his bachelors from Indiana University and his masters from Purdue University. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed Vocational Rehabilitation Expert. He had also worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Expert for the Veterans Administration for 32 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. He was preceded in death by his parents, June Pearson Barber and Carroll Barber Jr. He is survived by his wife, Roseann Barber; stepchildren, Marion (Mark) Ward and C.J. Landolfi; step grandchildren, Trinity, Samuel, Esther and Makenzie; brothers, Richard (Bobbie) and Ronald (Mary) Barber; nephew, Brent (Beth); nieces, Richelle (Krishna) Jani, Erick (Margot) and Nicholas (Katie). A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 5 pm with calling from 3 pm till service time at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Lymphoma Society.
