Robert A. Widders

Robert A. Widders, 81, Kokomo, formerly of Carmel, passed away March 26, 2015. He was born September 23, 1933, in Windsor, Ontario, the son of the late Robert F. and Violet (Bartlett) Widders. He married Ivy Jean (Russell) Widders who preceded him in passing on January 15, 2010, after 53 years of marriage. Bob enjoyed woodworking, world wide traveling, golfing, Indy car and NASCAR racing. He is survived by two daughters, Heather (husband Shawn) Sears and Kyle Beth Alexander; two granddaughters, Kyla (Erick) Miller and Kelsey (Lee) Barker; sister, Joan VanderMeer; sister-in-law, June Phillips; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing by a brother-in-law, Don Phillips. Private services are planned. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army.
