Robert A. Plake
January 4, 1932 — September 16, 2021
Robert A. Plake, 89, of Lawrence, IN passed away September 16, 2021. He was born on January 4, 1932 to the late William A. and Eva A. Kiefer Plake.
At a young age, he joined the Navy and he proudly dedicated 20 years to serving our country. During and after his service, he was a plumber and pipefitter.
He is preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Geraldine.
Bob is survived by his three loving sons, Robert A. (Nancy) Plake, William A. Plake, and Gerald A. (Libby) “Bud” Plake; 5 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, on Tuesday, September 21st from 4-8pm. Services will be held the following day Wednesday, September 22nd at 10AM. Robert will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
