Robert A. Najmon

Robert A. Najmon, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 15, 2012. He was born on February 24, 1923 in Schuyler, Nebraska to Rudolph and Stella H. (Padrnos) Najmon. Bob was a 1944 graduate of Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. He retired from Western Electric after 20 years of service. Bob was a member of North Liberty Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mildred (Gallatin) Najmon; sons, Mark (Cathy), Gary (Kathy), Ralph (Susan), Carl ; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He is also survived by his sister, Ramona Klopping; and was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services for Mr. Najmon will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 10am. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 2 until 6pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Baird Cemetery in Martinsville, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be given to the North Liberty Christian Church.
