Robert A. Buckler

Robert A. Buckler, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away November 19, 2015. Robert was born in Indianapolis the son of Ivan and Edith (Davenport) Buckler. He retired from Dean Brothers Pump where he was a machinist. He was a member of East Rawles Church of God, Moose Lodge #17 and was a US Navy Veteran. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Laura; his son Mike; brothers, Albert and Richard Buckler and sister, Alberta Buckler.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Susan Rider (Tim) and Donna Cox (Mel); grandchildren, Shelley Maynard, Ashley Didion (Joseph), Kyle Cox and Eric Ellett; 3 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Brayden and Grayson; sisters, Martha Summit and Mary Lou Ellett.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM, Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be from 4:00 until service time on Sunday. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery with military rites.
