Robert A. Bohnenkamp, Sr.

Robert A. Bohnenkamp, Sr., 70 of Indianapolis, IN was born January 5, 1945 and passed away on November 11, 2015. He was born in Indianapolis to George J. and Eva B. Bohnenkamp, who precede him in death. Bob worked for many years at Navistar and also owned Bob Bohnenkamp and Son Plumbing. He was a member of Sugar Creek Masonic Lodge and Local 98 UAW. He enjoyed playing pool, Texas Holdem, and music but most of all he loved and enjoyed being with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Fawn S. Shelton. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Dawn M. (Rick) Snyder, Lynn R. Sturm, Robert A. Bohnenkamp, II and Shana B. Bohnenkamp, brother, George Bohnenkamp, sisters, Suzy (J.R.) Evans, Janet Bigelow, Norma (Brian) OConnor and Joan Hancken. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Robert A. Bohnenkamp, III, Rachel Elizabeth Bohnenkamp, Michael Richardson, Marek Calvert, Lauren Fisher, Kathleen Donohue, Eric Shelton, Emily Shelton and Sara Shelton and 2 great-grandchildren, Liam Fisher and Sophia Fisher. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM Monday, November 16, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis 46229.
