Rita Rubuls

Rita Rubuls 89, Indianapolis, passed away at Marquette Manor on October 30, 2013. She was born August 27, 1924, in Saldus, Latvia, the daughter of the late Alexandris and Milda (Valdmanis) Dakters. She was married to Raymond Rubuls, who preceded her in passing. Rita was a member of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Latvian Ladies Auxiliary Committee. She and her husband were one of the founding members of the Latvian Community Center. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Katz. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Marquette Manor and St. Vincent Hospice for their loving care. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
