Rita A.(Bates) Bowman, 83, Indianapolis passed away December 28, 2015.
She was bornJuly 16, 1932 in Indianapolis to Norien (Anderson) and William B. Bates.
Rita workedas a seamstress and was an avid reader. Her life was spent loving and takingcare of her family.
Rita issurvived by, daughter, Terri (Gordon Cutshaw) Hogue, 2 sons, Jeff (Lisa Spratt)Bowman and Kenny Bowman; grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, and Valerie Bowman; great grandchild, Rayne Bowman; sister, Irma Dunn and a brother, William (Ruby) Bates.
Preceded indeath by husband, Donald E. Bowman.
Visitationwill be 12:30 until service time at 2:30 pm Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425N. Holt Rd. Entombment will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
