Richard Wilkerson

Richard Lee Wilkerson 61, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 15, 2015. Richard was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 29, 1953. He was a graduate of Northrop High School, Ft. Wayne, IN. He was a loss prevention officer for Meijer. He had also been a 911 dispatch officer for Ft. Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Opal "Babs" Wilkerson and brother, John Scott Wilkerson. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer L. McDowell; grandchildren, Crysania Johnson, Haley McDowell and Jeremy McDowell and sister, Cathy (Zackery "Rick") Ormiston. Services will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2 p.m. with calling from noon in the Good Shepherd Chapel at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
