Richard W. Warrum

Richard W. Warrum, 80, Indianapolis passed away peacefully January 10, 2014 at Methodist Hospital. He was born November 28, 1933 in Indianapolis son of the late Lena (Meier) and John Warrum. Richard had served with the Marion County Sheriff's Department for 32 years retiring in May of 1988. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casinos and playing euchre with family and friends. Richard is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia: children, Rhonda Norman and Rick (Debbie) Warrum; grandchildren, Shannon Norman, Karen Piehl, Tommy Bereman, Mikey Warrum, and Kathi Warrum; a great grandson, Christian (CJ) Piehl; brothers, Bob, Bill, Ron, and Jim Warrum and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Bereman and brother, John Warrum, Jr. A celebration of life will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the funeral home.
