Brother Richard D. Shaw, the beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. William and Lucy Shaw, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on May 14, 1948. He attended Arsenal Technical High School, where he participated in the school's ROTC program. At the age of eighteen, he enlisted in the Army, served faithfully for three years, and received an honorable discharge.
Brother Richard transitioned to heaven on April 29, 2026, surrounded by his cherished sisters, at the age of seventy-seven. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rene Allen, and his six brothers and sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters: Lola Shaw, Minister Dinah Wilson, and Margaret Shaw, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for your kindness and gestures of love. The repass will be held at MCL Restaurant 5520 Castleton Corner 46205 from 3pm to 6pm dinner will be on each person.
